Where there's a will, there's a greener way
At Nortec, we are fully committed to the sharing economy and resource optimisation.
Our products have a long lifespan and are repaired and reused for as long as possible.
But our green ambitions don’t stop with the machines. They extend far beyond fields and meadows, deep into the Danish forests. To the benefit of wildlife, plant life, and for many generations to come.
Thank you for your support
Each year, you help support over 87 hectares of natural areas in Central Jutland when you use Nortec – both in laundries and at charging stations.
Nortec’s primary owner, Michael Sand, and his company Norland Invest, dedicate part of the profits to managing and developing the nature areas Nature for generations. These areas promote biodiversity, increase CO2 absorption, and create better living conditions for plant and wildlife. Our work in Central Jutland also protects the existing nature, where through careful management, we ensure that natural habitats remain intact and resilient to external impacts, thereby strengthening biodiversity.
At Norland, sustainability is about giving back to future generations. We create long-term growth and strengthen nature with the help of Europe's leading experts.

This includes InNovaSilva (experts in sustainable forestry and afforestation), Mols Consulting (experts in biodiversity area development, environmental and nature advising), and Hans Brix (expert in forest and wildlife management).
Establishment of unique biotopes
We establish unique biotopes that function as natural sanctuaries for rare and endangered species. These new habitats are designed to ensure optimal conditions for the growth and survival of both plants and animals.
What are biotopes?
Biotopes are specific natural areas where particular animals and plants thrive under certain environmental conditions. They are crucial for preserving biodiversity and protecting endangered species. Additionally, biotopes contribute to essential ecosystem services such as CO2 absorption and water purification. By creating and protecting biotopes, we ensure healthier nature and promote resilience against climate change, benefiting future generations.
