What does it cost to wash?

Several factors influence the calculation of washing and drying prices for a shared laundry. To ensure prices are as precise and fair as possible, we consider various parameters.

Here you can read more about how we calculate the washing price:

Factors affecting the price

Number of machines

The initial prices are significantly influenced by the number of machines per laundry. The investment cost varies depending on whether it involves five or fifty machines.

Type of machines

When we talk about machine types, this includes everything from the supply method and ventilation (e.g., condensation or extraction) to the machine's size and software. The investment varies depending on the type chosen. This will, in turn, affect the starting price of a wash in your laundry.

Number of daily washes

The more frequently the machines are used daily, the cheaper it becomes to wash. It's that simple.

Contract length

The longer the contract period, the cheaper the washing price. This is because we can spread the investment over a longer period. You can choose contracts between 10 and 15 years.

Responsibility for electricity and water

A factor that affects the washing and drying price is whether Nortec handles the supply and management of water and electricity for the laundry. You can achieve reductions in fees and thus a cheaper starting price if you outsource this part to us.

Contract type

We never create standard solutions. This means we have various contract types. Certain contract types can affect laundry prices due to different financing methods.

Detergents

Washing becomes more expensive if detergents and fabric softeners are included in the cost. However, we recommend this option for a simple reason: it significantly improves the washing results and hygiene in the laundry.
