Takeover of the charging point operations in ProStrøm ApS

ProStrøm is a privately owned Danish company that, since 2019, has worked to make it easier to be an electric car owner in Denmark. The company primarily targets housing associations and businesses that wish to expand with charging options for residents and employees.

It has always been important to me to create a simple, flexible, and high-quality charging experience for both customers and users. I feel confident handing over our charging point operations to Nortec, as I know our customers will have a strong partner with the same focus on service and operational reliability.

ProStrøm’s customer base largely overlaps with Nortec’s, making the acquisition a natural step. It aligns well with our strategy to promote accessible charging solutions for housing associations and businesses.

The takeover officially came into effect on 1 April 2025. Going forward, ProStrøm’s charging points will become part of the Nortec universe and continue operations under our name.

The takeover means small changes in the daily routines of ProStrøm’s customers and users. From now on, our nationwide team of service technicians and local customer service in Vejle will be ready to assist with both service and support.

Users will gain access to Nortec Go – our charging app with more than 600,000 available charging points, including both AC and DC chargers.
