Nortec's largest acquisition to date
Nortec A/S, which specializes in professional laundry solutions, has acquired all laundry activities from Saniva Facility A/S. This acquisition strengthens Nortec's position in the market as Denmark's leading provider of professional laundry solutions and expands its already nationwide service department.
The acquisition of Saniva's laundry division is Nortec's largest acquisition to date, and Michael Sand shares the following words about successfully taking over such a well-established and traditional company.

"It is with great pleasure that we can now announce that we have entered into a purchase agreement with Gitte and René Groesmeyer, which means that we are taking over all of Saniva's laundry activities. Saniva is an incredibly well-run company with a strong reputation in the industry. 50 years with the same CVR number
Like Nortec, Saniva is a Danish, family-owned company, founded back in 1970 by William Skovlund Jensen. Fifty years later, the company still has the same CVR number, and today it is owned and operated by William's daughter, Gitte Skovlund Groesmeyer, and her husband, René Groesmeyer. René Groesmeyer has been part of Saniva since 1993, and in 1999, he and Gitte took over the company from Gitte's father. Saniva's primary business is professional laundry solutions, including the supply of laundry machines, service agreements, and the operation of its own laundries.
The company is based in Smørum, northwest of Copenhagen, and with its own service department, it has covered a large part of Denmark from there. In connection with the acquisition, Nortec will take over all of Saniva's existing service and laundry contracts, and the employees involved in Saniva's laundry activities will also transfer to Nortec. This will give Nortec Denmark's largest service department with well-trained and quality-conscious service technicians specializing in professional laundry solutions. Saniva currently has a facility department, which includes the renovation of rental apartments and painting work. These activities will continue in the current company and will not be transferred to Nortec.
Although it will now be under a new CVR number, Gitte and René Groesmeyer do not see this as the end of an era. Despite selling Saniva to Nortec, they view it more as the start of a new chapter. René Groesmeyer will be employed by Nortec and will take an active role in future operations, as well as joining Nortec's board.

The takeover takes place in January 2022
The takeover officially occurs on 1 January 2022, providing ample time to ensure a smooth transition of all laundry activities to Nortec. Saniva's many customers are therefore in good hands and can expect the same high level of service they have always been accustomed to. All service and laundry contracts are transferred to Nortec with the agreed obligations and terms, ensuring that the daily operation of the laundries is not affected by the sale to Nortec.
